After years of writing, drawing, designing, modeling, rigging, painting, reworking, developing, experiencing ups and downs, and nearly daily work, I couldn't be more pleased and excited to announce that "The Daily Mobster" (based on my nearly cough fifteen-year-old popular Daily Mobster Wordpress blog) is now coming to its fullest and finest vision - a full-fledged web comic and riveting character story following some of the most beloved characters from the blog.
Having worked with Slavik IA (The film and commercial director and artist) for many years, both in the studio setting, as friendly consultants and then ultimately as friends and creative partners, we decided to tackle our most ambitious project yet and are thrilled to say it will be available very soon!

The story follows "The Kid," an orphaned boy in a Mobster/Noir era and aesthetic as he escapes the ratty orphanage and struggles to survive in the bustling but seedy nearby city of Port Noir. He's hit with a reality check when he quickly learns of the corrupt politicians, violent and vicious mobsters, and the gruff gangsters that roam and rule the city. He's faced with the hard truths of what it means to become an adult and question right from wrong, and truth from fiction.
In a wide range from hard-boiled detective and mobster themes, to absurd and silly humor (it is a "cartoon" afterall), to even a dash of super natural, we hope to offer you the one of the most thrilling and rich experiences in webcomic reading you've ever had with The Daily Mobster.
It's all done in Jack Kasprzak's iconic black and white, caricatured style that made The Daily Mobster so popular in the first place. It promises all the grotesque and exaggerated style mobsters, with the finessed illustrative style I've strived to create most of my career. But! we've enhanced and enriched it with a filmic sense of cinema. Both Slavik and I come, professionally, from the film and animation world, so the comic promises you an experience unlike any other graphic novel, web toon, comic book or trade you've ever read before. We are pushing to blur the line between cinema and comic to bring you an amazing read that you'll be hooked to and hopefully share with your friends! We've hired a team of amazing industry writers (soon to be announced), cg artists and designers to bring the immersive and dense world of The Daily Mobster straight to your fingertips and eyes.

Cheers and...
