The Story of the Year is coming!
Hold onto your hats folks, the story of the year is about to unfold. "The Daily Mobster" is a brand new web comic told in a daring film noir cinematic visual format. From corrupt politicians, ruthless mob bosses, underground printing presses, and larger than life characters of all shapes and sizes - The Daily Mobster builds a rich a fantastical new take on mob family and the absurdity of the world in which we live.
When "The Kid" escapes his orphanage after a bungled murder attempt (who the hell assassinates a child?!), he takes refuge in the bustling but seedy nearby city of Port Noir. Living on the streets is a fast and rude awakening as he quickly discovers that the adult world is far darker and more complex than he ever imagined.
His later discoveries of the corrupt power structure and who pulls the strings around town throws his moral compass into a tail spin.
Based on the popular art blog by animator and illustrator, Jack Kasprzak, of the same name, the wild array of characters and stories come to life in a full blown mobster comic series.
Produced in a unique and bold visual style, rarely, if ever, seen in comic books, The Daily Mobster hopes to transport you into the rich world of Port Noir and meet flawed, contradictory, caricatured and complex characters as well as grapple with some of life's most complicated questions.
The Daily Mobster comic will release its debut issue January 1st, 2026, with a bimonthly issue drop - and we can promise you that consistency. We are privately funded, direct from the artists to you, independent comic brought to you by passionate and experienced artists with credits in the film and tv world such as: Pirates of the Caribbean, The Twits, Transformers, Tron, X-Men, Black Panther, and dozens of other titles.
